About the Journal
The Clinical Artificial Intelligence & Informatics Journal (CAIIJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, Open Access journal dedicated to the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital health technologies, and clinical practice. Our mission is to bridge the gap between computational innovation and patient care, providing a platform for research that demonstrates the real-world utility of digital tools in diverse healthcare settings.
We specifically prioritize research that addresses healthcare challenges in resource-constrained settings and emerging economies, fostering a truly global dialogue on digital health equity.
We welcome submissions in the following areas:
-
Clinical AI Validation: Studies validating machine learning algorithms on real-world patient data.
-
Public Health Informatics: The use of big data and mobile health (mHealth) to monitor and improve population health.
-
Telemedicine & Remote Monitoring: Implementation studies, particularly in rural or underserved regions.
-
Translational Bioinformatics: Applying computational biology to clinical diagnostics.
-
Ethics & Governance: Frameworks for the responsible deployment of AI in healthcare.
Note to Authors: While we welcome technical innovation, manuscripts must demonstrate clinical relevance. Purely theoretical code or computer science papers without a clear medical application or healthcare dataset are outside the scope of this journal.
